Protect 6 furniture protection plan, provided in partnership with Staingard Protect Ltd and administered by Staingard Limited.
This plan offers peace of mind for 6 years from delivery, covering accidental damage, staining and structural faults. Please read these Terms carefully so you understand what’s covered, what’s not, and how to request support
1. About Protect 6
This is a discretionary warranty service plan (not an insurance product).
The decision to provide assistance is at the discretion of Staingard, in line with these Terms.
2. Duration of Cover
Cover begins on the date of delivery.
The plan lasts for 6 years in total. If your furniture is replaced in full, your cover ends
3. What’s Covered
Accidental Staining
- Food or drink (coffee, wine, curry, etc.)
- Cosmetics, makeup, tanning products
- Bodily fluids (human or pet)
- Ink, paint, glue, corrosive substances
- Dye transfer (e.g. clothing, newspapers)
- Wax & wax polish
Accidental Damage
- Rips, tears, punctures, burns, scuffs
- Pet damage (scratches, chewing, soiling)
- Chips, dents, scratches
- Breakage or scratching of glass/mirrors
Structural Defects & Damage (after manufacturer’s guarantee)
- Broken or warped frames
- Recliner or mechanism faults (including electrical/USBs)
- Seam/stitch separation, peeling veneer or leather
- Zip or button failures
- Loss of resiliency in cushions/interiors
- Breaking or bending of metal components
4. What’s Not Covered
- General wear & tear, fading
- Pre-existing damage (noted at delivery)
- Commercial or rental use
- Fire, flood, infestation, wild animal damage
- Misuse, neglect, abuse, or unapproved cleaning products
- Any cause not expressly covered under section 3
- Fraudulent or excessive requests
- Pieces from our Refurbished collection
5. How to Request Service
Submit any request within 21 days of discovering an issue.
Do not attempt to repair or clean before Staingard reviews your case.

6. Customer Responsibilities
To keep cover valid, you must:
- Follow manufacturer care guidelines
- Use only Staingard-approved cleaning products
- Keep furniture clean and well maintained
- Avoid direct heat and prolonged sunlight
7. Limits of Service
Maximum value of service is limited to the original retail price
Arm caps and scatter cushions: covered up to original value.
8. Ending the Plan
Your Protect6 plan ends if:
- The 6-year term expires
- The item is replaced in full
- The furniture is misused or materially modified
- Fraudulent/misleading information is provided
- Maximum claim value is exceeded
- The plan is cancelled/unpaid
9. Disputes & Data
Complaints handled under Staingard’s Warranty Code of Conduct.
Staingard is the Data Controller of your information, used only to administer this plan.
You have rights of access, correction, deletion, and to complain to the ICO.
Data will not be used for marketing without consent
10. Legal & Transfer
Governed by the laws of England & Wales.
You may transfer cover to another person for a £35 fee, subject to approval.
