The Archie 1.5 Corner 3 is a left hand short L shaped fabric corner sofa — the shorter 1.5-seat section sits on the left as you face it. Deep sink-in seating, premium grade foam construction, made to order in 6–8 weeks with bespoke widths available.
Design & Proportion
Archie is defined by generous depth, soft sculpted lines and a relaxed, substantial presence. The wide arms roll forward into the seat, creating one continuous, enveloping shape that gives the range its distinctive character.
The 1.5 Corner 3 layout opens with the shorter 1.5-seat section on the left, turns the corner, then runs out to a full three-seat length — what is usually called a left hand short corner sofa. Getting the handedness right is what makes a corner sofa sit properly against your wall rather than fighting a door, window or walkway.
Premium Foam Construction with Wave Foam Technology
Every Archie seat cushion is built from premium grade foam rather than budget fillings — so the sofa you sit on in year five still feels like the sofa you sat on in week one.
At the core sits our wave foam technology: a profiled foam layer that flexes under load and pushes back as you move. That bounce back action is what stops a deep seat from flattening out, going soft in the middle or developing the tired dip that lets so many deep sofas down.

Archie is upholstered in richly textured fabric that enhances its soft, sculptural form. The tactile surface adds warmth and visual depth, complementing the rounded arms and generous cushions.
A choice of fabrics and colourways is available across the range, so you can keep Archie soft and neutral or take it darker and more dramatic. A coordinating scatter cushion completes the relaxed, layered look.

Is the Archie 1.5 Corner 3 left hand or right hand short?
Left hand short. Standing in front of the sofa, the shorter 1.5-seat section is on your left and the long three-seat run is on your right. If you need it the other way round, choose the Archie 3 Corner 1.5, which is right hand short.
How do I know whether I need left hand short or right hand short?
Stand facing the space where the sofa will go. If the short side needs to sit on your left, you want the left hand short 1.5 Corner 3; if it needs to sit on your right, you want the right hand short 3 Corner 1.5. A video consultation can confirm it before you order.
How long does the Archie sofa take to arrive?
Archie is made to order with a typical lead time of 6–8 weeks from the date your order and fabric choice are confirmed.

Delivery Information
We use a specially selected group of carriers to ensure your get the best delivery service for your order. The lead time for each item is stated on the product page under “Estimated Delivery Time”. Where delivery is stated in days or weeks, these are working days and not consecutive calendar days. The first working day following your order date is day one. You’ll receive an email from us when your order is dispatched.

We offer delivery to all mainland UK addresses. For highlands, islands and Ireland, we can offer a special delivery service which requires individual calculation. Please get in touch with us to discuss these options further.
Delivery Charges
Our Delivery Charges are based on the product you are looking to purchase. The price will reflect the size of the product and the need for 1 or 2 men delivery.
*All delivery charges are subject to your purchases of your new furniture being able to fit through the threshold of your property and into the room of your choice.
Should your items not fit, you can return them via your own courier or ours - Return delivery charge applies
Sofas, Chairs & Footstools
For the Delivery of Sofas, Chairs and Footstools, the charges are based on the total amount of seating:-
1-2 Seats £49 / 3 Seats £59 / 4 Seats £79 / 5 Seats + £99
If Room of Choice delivery is chosen, to protect our sofas in transit we often ship them without the feet attached to avoid any damage. Upholstery items may need assembling. This may involve putting feet on and connecting sections of the upholstery together.
Standard and Ottoman Beds including Mattresses
The Delivery charge for Beds will be based on the number of beds. Beds will need to be assembled.
The prices for beds will be calculated at checkout.
Mattresses (Roll pack & Standard)
The Delivery charge for Mattresses will be based on the number of mattresses.
The prices for Mattresses will be calculated at checkout.
Dining Tables & Dining Chairs
The Delivery charge for Dining Tables & Dining Chairs is based on the weight and number of boxes. Dining Tables & Dining Chairs will need to be assembled.

Accessories
Delivery of Accessories such as Lamps, Tables, Rugs, Wall Art, Mirrors will be based on the size of the item. Accessories may need assembling but this will be visible on the product page.

Bedroom Furniture i.e Wardrobes, Chest of drawers, Bedside Cabinets
The Delivery charge for Bedroom Furniture will be based on the number of items. Bedroom Furniture may need assembling but this will be visible on the product page

Delivery Types
1 Person Delivery for smaller items
If delivery is by 1-person courier service, the estimated lead time will be displayed on the product page. This is an all-day, weekday service.
If you are out when the driver attempts to deliver your furniture they will leave a card with simple options for re-delivery. Alternatively, if there is a safe place to leave your item, just add the info in your basket in the “notes and instructions” box.
Delivery is to the main door of the building only. Please be aware, that if you live in a flat or have a shared entrance, the driver will only deliver your order to this entrance, not to the entrance to your flat. If you require extra assistance, you may be able to upgrade to our enhanced 2 Person service for an additional fee - please contact us to discuss this.

2 Person Delivery
If the items are larger, then delivery may be completed by a two-person delivery team. The estimated lead time will be displayed on the product page.
Our selected delivery partner will contact you to schedule a delivery date. A delivery window will be given the day before delivery. Deliveries are completed in most areas Monday - Friday (Saturday is available in certain locations).
In preparation for a 2 Person delivery, we recommend that the route from the delivery van to your home is free from obstacles.
2 Person Room of Choice Delivery
If the items are larger then delivery may be completed by a two-person delivery team. The estimated lead time will be displayed on the product page.
This service is to a room of choice (as long as it is safe to do so).
Our selected delivery partner will contact you to schedule a delivery date. A delivery window will be given the day before delivery. Deliveries are completed in most areas Monday - Friday (Saturday is available in certain locations).
In preparation for a 2 Person Room of Choice delivery, we recommend that the route from the delivery van to your room of choice is free from obstacles. You might also want to ensure items hanging on walls are removed and floors are protected (old sheets are good for this).
Please be aware that 2 Person Room of Choice deliveries to flats or apartments above the 2nd floor without access to a lift will be delivered subject to the drivers' discretion and if they feel it is safe to do so.
Specialist Installation Service
When your order is ready for despatch, you will be contacted by our Specialist Installation Team to arrange a delivery slot.
Delivery is made by a minimum of 2 members of our Specialist Sofa Team. Items are placed in your room of choice, unboxed, feet and any connecting parts fitted, positioned where you want it, and all packaging removed.
Once you are happy, the team will then take photos of your furniture in-situ (for our delivery records only).
Removal of Old Service
We can offer a Removal of Old Furniture service to make delivery day easy when purchasing your new furniture. This will only be available to those who select Room of Choice or Specialist Installation Service. Our Specialist team will remove your old furniture on the day of delivery and dispose of it in the most ecological way according to UK Law.
Prices for Removal of Old will be shown at Checkout.
Alternatively, you can contact The British Heart Foundation directly to arrange a collection of your unwanted furniture at a time that suits you. They will then sell it in one of their 700+ shops throughout the UK, and the proceeds will help fund life-saving research. So you can get rid of your unwanted stuff, and feel good about it, too. This service is free of charge. Just call 0808 250 0115 to arrange your collection.
Pallet Service
Used for our extra large, heavy or bulky items and selected postcodes. Delivery is to the kerbside or driveway only. Be sure you have a helping hand as you are responsible for the item once it’s unloaded from the vehicle by the driver.
Collection from Home Living Outlet
It is possible to collect items, free of delivery charge, from our main warehouse in Accrington (BB5 0LE). Collections are required to be booked in advance. Please contact us on 01254 235550 or email us at: hello@homelivingoutlet.co.uk so that we can advise on details of this service.
Free customer parking is available.
Packaging
Deliveries made by our Specialist Installation Teams include the removal of all packaging. Packaging removal is not included in our other delivery services.
Please retain any packaging until you've inspected your item and are 100% happy with it, as you may require it to repackage for return.
All of the packaging is made from recycled material where possible, and it’d be fantastic if you could recycle the cardboard etc. as well. If not, cardboard boxes are always useful around the home!
Non-Mainland UK/Europe
We can arrange delivery to Northern Ireland, Republic Of Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Isle of Scilly.* Please email or call us for our delivery charges and to confirm the delivery options we can offer.
Area Surcharges
We try to offer delivery to as much of the UK as possible. Unfortunately, due to the high surcharges made to us by the delivery firms we can’t offer this to the whole of the UK.
*A surcharge may be applied to the following postcodes: BT, AB, DD, HS, IM, IV, KA, KW PA, PH, ZE
Non-UK mainland locations will also incur a surcharge and are quoted on a case by case basis to ensure we get the best price possible for you.
We will always work to keep any surcharge to an absolute minimum for our customers.
Please note, delivery times to surcharge postcodes will be longer than those stated on site. We will provide an estimate when you get in touch for a quote.
