Design & Proportion

Archie is defined by generous depth, soft sculpted lines and a relaxed, substantial presence. The wide arms roll forward into the seat, creating one continuous, enveloping shape that gives the range its distinctive character.

Two chaise ends rather than one, on a 300cm frame. Nobody has to take the ordinary seat: both ends are loungers, and the middle still seats people normally. It needs a large room or an open-plan space to work, and it rewards one — this is the piece a living room gets arranged around.

At the core sits our wave foam technology: a profiled foam layer that flexes under load and pushes back as you move. That bounce back action is what stops a deep seat from flattening out, going soft in the middle or developing the tired dip that lets so many deep sofas down.
