The Stamford Wing Chair pairs a tall, deep-buttoned wing back with scroll arms and a plump loose seat cushion. It is the traditional fireside reading chair, and it sits perfectly alongside the Stamford sofas.

About the Stamford range

Stamford is our take on the timeless chesterfield: hand-finished deep buttoning, scroll arms and a tailored base, available in a sofa, a 2 seater, a wide arm chair and a wing chair. Every piece can be made in fabric or leather, so you can choose a soft velvet-look fabric for a relaxed feel or leather for a classic library look.

How it is made

• Frame: hardwood and composite board, glued and stapled, backed by a 10 year frame guarantee
• Seat: a loose seat cushion on a webbed base, with a webbed back
• Feet: Brass castors on the front feet and walnut feet at the back. Feet may need fitting on delivery.
• Tested: each seat is tested to BS EN 12520:2010 and BS EN 1022:2005 for people up to 120kg

Fabrics and leathers

Choose from 39 Prestige fabrics in the Amor, Detroit, Kansas, Manhattan and Messina families, or 18 Oslo leathers. The leather is a pigmented leather with a matte finish, 1.2–1.4mm thick, which makes it hard-wearing and easy to care for. Colour can vary slightly from roll to roll and hide to hide, so order a swatch if you would like to see a colour in your home first. Wood is a natural material, so the feet will vary slightly in shade.
